POWER MIRROR CONVERSION - OBS

Materials Used:

Power Mirrors - Mine Are '97 Burbs

Power Mirror Switch - Mid 90's S10

Mirror Connectors - In Door "To" Mirror

Misc Tape-Wire-Zip Ties-Soldering Stuff-etc.

This is what I picked up from the junkyard ($5.00)

Here is the schematic I came up with:

It doesn't matter what the color of the wires are.

As long as you connect to the proper terminals.

I tried it out with another switch with a different colored loom,

and it worked like a charm.

This is the wiring diagram I used:

I used a "key-on" source for the power, and the cab as a ground.

Just make your own wire loom, and you are good to go.

My location for the switch is on the dash bezel underneath the headlight and cargo light switches.

This is what the plug looks like coming through the dash after making my wire loom and attaching to mirrors:

This is the trimmed switch (Your measurements may differ from mine)

The beauty of this install, you can remove and unplug the switch without removing the bezel.

(If you put enough slack in there!)
